Pluto Retrograde + Full Moon in Scorpio

Just as you felt that momentum was beginning to gather, with the totality of the sky in direct motion, Pluto decided to press pause on proceedings, as it stationed retrograde at 3º Aquarius on May 4th.

Transitioning back through the early degrees of the sign until it reaches 1º on October 14th, the Lord of the Underworld is calling for you to utilise this time as an opportunity to reflect, restructure, and redefine, when it comes to the developments that have occurred since its final ingress into Aquarius back in November 2024.

Is it possible thus to deepen your inner work, broadening your emotional and psychological self-exploration, so as to come to a better understanding of your psychological nature. Especially when it comes to your relationship to your community (or sense of it), technology, the internet, and AI.

Setting you on your course will be a super-charged Full Moon at 22º Scorpio on May 12th (5:55pm BST), which will pose the question, which is more dominant: your desire to transform, or your resistance to change? Your survival instinct, or the call towards growth and evolution.

Regardless, with Uranus conjunct the Sun, both in Taurus, and opposing the Moon, there is an activation occurring which may accelerate the pace of both personal and collective evolution. Whether anybody feels ready or not.

As such, you may feel an exacerbated urge to break free from the stagnancy and monotony of daily life and the known, familiar routines and landscapes, in favour of a new form of stimuli. However, if transformation is not consciously chosen over comfort then you may do well to prepare for impact, as this lunation has something of an unpredictable quality that may induce sudden, unpredictable changes to be thrust upon you.

The question is, when push comes to shove, do you have the willingness to let go, releasing your attachments to that which you have outgrown. If so, then this may prove to be a potent turning point for long-standing issues.

In the process, with Mercury (having transitioned into Taurus) making a square to (ruling planet) Pluto, tensions may rise as the energy becomes heavily imbued with emotionality. As such, sensitivities may get triggered resulting in conflict, yet is it possible, in the midst of such heated affairs, to question the existing opinions and perceptions you hold.

In the understanding that by doing so, you have the potential to transform how you think, speak, and relate to both yourself and those around you. Ultimately creating space for a more liberated and authentic way of being.
