Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces

Tender may be the night when the Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces illuminates the sky on August 28th 2026 (5:18am BST), bringing a chapter of your life, which began all the way back in 2024, ever closer to a point of completion.

As the penultimate Eclipse on the Pisces-Virgo axis, you may find that certain issues which emerged around the Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, back on March 3rd, suddenly resurface for resolution, asking that you clarify what needs clearing - internally or otherwise.

With most of the outer sky stationed retrograde (Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron), the energy may feel somewhat dense and sticky, as you find yourself forced to focus on just how much past may currently be dwelling in your present.

Asking, what still needs to be healed, integrated, or released in order for you to truly move forward freely.

With Chiron (situated at a critical 0° Taurus) positively aspected during this lunation, there will be notable support available to help aid you in reaching a turning point, whereby you’re able to come to a place of deeper awareness and understanding, especially in regard to any wounds you may have around (self) abandonment or self-worth.

In addition, with Mercury (in Virgo) somewhat magnified during this time - thanks in part to its conjunction to both the Sun (in Virgo) and the South Node (at the anaretic 29° Leo) - you can expect a heightened sense of clarity to emerge, one that helps to further bring about a newfound perspective on historical matters.

Intensifying the situation will be a square to Uranus (in Gemini), that may serve to shock you awake in areas where you have long been asleep. As such, you may experience an abrupt eruption of long-suppressed emotions, as the internal pressure challenges you to make necessary changes.

Asking that you release any lingering need for control or over-analysis, so as to choose instead to trust in a higher power along with your own inner wisdom.

However, the ultimate tension point may come courtesy of a yod, which will position the South Node-Sun-Mercury conjunction at the apex, activated by dual inconjuncts to Neptune (in Aries) and Pluto (in Aquarius), encouraging you to surrender past patterns of perfectionism and the need for outside validation, in favour of radical self-acceptance.

As Pluto will also be opposed by Jupiter (in Leo), the potential for transformation is only amplified. However, a breakthrough may first require some form of a breakdown, as you’re called to confront the aspects of Self you've long been avoiding. Asking that you shed any illusions and come to terms with the reality.

Yet, with Mars (in Cancer) fully activated, you may feel a sudden and intense urge for self-protection, causing defensiveness or frustration to bubble up. And whilst this energy may have the potential to invoke momentary feelings of self-doubt, it will ultimately serve to help you face and heal old wounds and fears.

By the time the final eclipse on the Pisces-Virgo axis arrives on February 20th 2027, the over-arching themes and hard-won lessons of the past few years will finally be crystalline, offering you a potent opportunity to karmically release the past so as to welcome in the dawn of a new life chapter.
