New Moon in Pisces

Before the creation of a new world can occur, one must first accept the death of the old.

Thus, on March 19th (1:23am GMT), the New Moon at 28° Pisces will invite you to take comfort in its womb-like energy for a brief period of much needed incubation, wherein you will be supported through this transitionary phase, with the following day bringing the Equinox, when the Sun moves into Aries, signalling a new beginning.

During this time, as you bridge the gap between one astrological year and another, you are encouraged to reflect on the past twelve months, so as to consider what themes have been recurrent, what emotions or experiences feel unresolved, and what the intention is moving forward.

In the darkness of this fertile space, can you clarify your intended direction and in turn, acknowledge what needs to dissolve in order to clear space for this new path to emerge. Are there things that feel draining, heavy, or stagnant that need to be released or wounds in need of healing.

With Mercury also stationing direct at the Equinox, in an (exact) conjunction to the North Node, along with nearby Mars (both in Pisces), you may find that these past three weeks of retrograde motion has been an imperative period of preparation, offering you the opportunity to reflect on these very issues.

Now, with Uranus (in Taurus) and Pluto (in Aquarius) activated under this lunation, you may find yourself suddenly awakening to a new sense of reality, one which is more aligned with who you are becoming, than who you have previously been. Highlighting that in order for any forward movement to ever be truly meaningful, it must ultimately be done consciously.

As the Sun and Moon briefly cross paths, they meet with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries, two celestial bodies which have recently initiated a new 36 year cycle that encourages you to sow seeds for the future. Asking, are you prepared to begin again, as you pursue your grandest vision, discovering new paths and possibilities along the way.
