Full Moon in Gemini

As the year draws to a close and the Moon reaches its highest rising point on the horizon until 2042 - a rare celestial event called a Major Lunar Standstill - you are offered a new vantage point from which to view the experiences that have unfolded over the past twelve months and thus in turn, to gain some insight into the upcoming year ahead.

Asking, what lessons were learnt and what is still yet to be understood. Were there things which were initiated or conceived, that still require your nurturance to grow. Commitments or obligations fulfilled, that now need relinquishing to the past. Or attachments severed in order for new bonds to be formed.

As the sky illuminates, courtesy of a Full Moon at 13° Gemini, occurring on December 4th 2025 (11:14pm GMT), all things will be brought full circle - mentally, physically, and spiritually - encouraging you to acknowledge, integrate, and release what has been, in order to prepare for what is yet to come.

As the last of three Super Moons this year, expect the energy to be ripe with intensity, as you feel into the tension point that lays between what is presently conscious and what merely wishes to be. Asking, are you prepared to shift your perception of reality to one that is more factual and less muddied by your internally created narrative. Are you able to see things as they are, rather than as your mind would have you believe them to be.

With the Moon’s ruler, Mercury (now direct in Scorpio as of November 29th, albeit still in its shadow period), situated at the base of a kite in opposition to Uranus (Rx in Taurus), it’s time to finally awaken to the truth. Yet your attachment to your version of it may have you feeling somewhat destabilised as the ultimate truth, which incorporates the many, contradictory and paradoxical versions of it, begins to feel confronting and overwhelming.

Perhaps illuminating in the process the inner conflicts and fears which have led to the creation of certain self-sabotaging and limiting beliefs. Thus, can you allow the shape of things to change as these new insights and information emerge, letting go of the stories which no longer serve you.

Choices which may prove to be imperative, as what is acted upon now will have long-term implications, thanks in part to Saturn’s connection to this lunation.

Having ingressed into the sign of Aries (for the first time since February 1999) merely a few days before the New Moon in Gemini back on May 25th, Saturn utilised this period to first initiate a call for maturation, asking that you take on the responsibility for the co-creation of your life, coming into a state of self-mastery. It then stationed retrograde at 1° on July 13th, pressing pause on proceedings, so as to offer you the opportunity to re-evaluate your life and consider what was getting in the way of how you’d really like it to be.

Having spent the past five months transitioning back into the late degrees of Pisces, there has certainly been ample time to contemplate what is in need of ending or amending in order for you to progress forward. And now, having finally stationed direct at 25° on November 28th, it once again joins the Moon in Gemini to deliver its conclusions.

With the only question remaining: are you ready to implement its suggestions.

Know that your response may prove to be important, as the Sun and Moon will be forming an exact square to the Lunar Nodes, on the Virgo-Pisces axis, meaning that the energy of the moment, although admittedly challenging, ultimately holds a karmic significance, with your evolutionary direction about to be highlighted. Requiring you to find the middle ground when it comes to your faith and your discernment, your logic and your intuition. And encouraging you to take decisive action, whilst surrendering your sense of control in regard to the outcome.
