New Moon in Sagittarius + Neptune Direct

Sometimes it is only in the breaking that we experience the most profound breakthroughs and with Neptune’s station direct on December 10th at a critical 29° Pisces, the cracks may seem more evident than ever.

Having made its initial ingress into Pisces back in 2011, Neptune initiated both a collective and personal evolutionary journey, one that called for a deeper connection to spirit along with an internal transformation that would radically shift the perception of the outer world.

Having spent 15 years in the sign, it finally made a move into Aries on March 30th 2025 - giving a taste of what’s to come - before taking a momentary repose on July 4th, stationing retrograde at 2° and eventually transitioning back into Pisces on October 22nd.

In the months that followed you were given the opportunity to wrap up any unfinished business, in the acknowledgement that this soul journey was the last of its kind for you in this lifetime.

As such, you may have had to confront that which you’ve been avoiding, as hidden issues were brought to light, highlighting any bypassing, escapism, delusion, or idealistic behaviour in the process. Asking if can you sharpen your discernment, so as to see yourself, and thus others, more clearly.

In doing so, you may have felt a dissolution of Self occurring, as you, consciously or otherwise, released an old identity, yet this surrendering, this letting go, was necessary in order for a new, more aligned version of yourself to emerge. One that moved from inner knowing to outer action.

It was a spiritual recalibration, but it was not easy nor comfortable.

Now, as Neptune prepares to complete its work in Pisces, before re-entering Aries on January 26th 2026 - where it will remain until 2038 - it asks that you take this time to integrate all that has been revealed. Yet the stillness of this particular reflection point may just prove to be somewhat challenging, as Neptune’s proximity to the Earth creates an intensification of energy which may invoke something of a healing crisis.

The aforementioned breaking before the breakthrough.

Thus, can you prepare yourself to ride out this final storm, as you draw to a close a chapter of your life, in order for a potent rebirth to occur.

Assisting you in the process will be a New Moon at 28° Sagittarius on December 20th (1:43am GMT), the last lunation of the calendar year. Whilst it holds no punches, its aim is to ultimately push you beyond your limits, especially those that are merely formulated within the confines of your mind.

In a tight conjunction to the Sun and Venus, along with Mars (in Capricorn), you are being called to consider the truth of who you are, what it is you truly value and believe, and what really drives you. Asking that you not only become more definitive, but equally that you recognise the ways in which you have allowed yourself to become stuck, due to a sense of lack or limitation.

Square to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction (in Pisces), this is a critical turning point, whereby you are being forced to make certain necessary internal shifts, in order for your outer world to change.

In the process, with this lunation situated at the apex of a yod, involving Jupiter (Rx in Cancer) and Uranus (Rx in Taurus), you may find yourself experiencing some BIG emotional outbursts, as that which has long been suppressed suddenly rises to the surface for release.

Whilst this eruption may feel momentarily destabilising, know that it is required in order to create space for your expansion.

With Mercury (in Sagittarius) squaring the Lunar Nodes (on the Pisces-Virgo axis), the only way is through and thus, you are being called to let go of your attachment to the past, and to your perceived sense of security and control, so as to surrender entirely to the moment, in the embrace of a new perspective.

One that allows you to think BIGGER and BOLDER than you may have ever done before.

By the time of the Sagittarius Full Moon on May 31st 2026, when both Saturn and Neptune will have made their respective ingress into Aries, the energy of the times will demand that you embody your personal authority, stand in your truth, and live a life of purpose.

Hence, taking this time to prepare, by clearing away any impediments, may just prove to be the most imperative work of the past fifteen years!
