Full Moon in Taurus + Mercury Retrograde

You may have been feeling a little tender of late, as the Sun’s submersion into the deepest depths of Scorpio’s waters has served to shine a light on the darkest of spots and the tightest of corners, exposing that which you may have preferred remain hidden.

Yet the revelations unravelling during this time occur not for mere torture, but to highlight what has died a death and what needs to change, evolve, and transform, in order to keep alive.

Assisting you in the process of clearing house will be a Full Moon at 13° Taurus on November 5th 2025 (1:19pm GMT), which will help you release anything no longer sacred to the space.

A cleansing process which will carry a somewhat substantial weight, what with 2025 being a year 9 in numerology - an important period of completion before the energetic reset initiated by the entrance of vibration 1 in 2026.

In addition, as the second of three Super Moons due before the year draws to a close, the Moon’s proximity to the Earth will only intensify the energy at play. Thus, you may find yourself reflecting back on the past and the journey that has brought you here, to this moment, in order to understand where it is you wish to head in this next chapter of your life.

And in the contemplation of a new beginning, you may equally feel called to consider as to what presently requires a resolution, where do you still need to find closure, and what has reached its end, in order to fully move ahead.

Were there seeds planted, ideas initiated, hopes created around the New Moon in Taurus on April 27th, that are slowly coming to fruition. Or have things stagnated and stalled in the absence of your commitment to the cause. If so, can you acknowledge what no longer holds your attention and why. Is it time to re-evaluate the vision, or release it altogether.

What’s left in the wake of this lunation should be solely that which you truly want, value, and desire, as you carry the weight of building and maintaining it with you into the next nine years of your life.

Merely days on from this illumination, Mercury will station retrograde at 6° Sagittarius on November 9th, conjunct Mars in the same sign, calling for a period of deep inner reflection. As such, you may find yourself suddenly questioning your beliefs, worldview, assumptions, and internalisations, asking if what you believe to be the truth is actually worthy of the term.

Is it possible for you to open your mind to a new perspective, one that incorporates the experiences and views of those who oppose or challenge your own. Can you invite in an awareness of where you may be rigidly or dogmatically holding onto opinions or ignorant narratives that best serve your ego over your soul.

Can you bypass any arising judgment or fear in favour of willingly choosing to explore the differing philosophies and practices of other cultures in an act of genuine curiosity, so as to broaden your understanding of the world and those around you. Enriching your life and sense of belonging in the process.

By November 19th, Mercury will have retraced its steps through the early degrees of Sagittarius, and transitioned to 29° Scorpio, where it will directly oppose Uranus Rx at 29° Gemini. Here the energy shifts a gear, with new information being revealed which will best serve to offer objective insight.

As such, deeply held, unresolved emotional issues will arise seeking resolution, asking, what historical occurrences still have power over you in the present day. What clarity can be gained from confronting that which you’ve been avoiding. What fears need to be allayed. What wounds tended to.

Can you offer yourself - and perhaps others - the compassion required to heal what hurts, so that everyone involved can move on, unencumbered.

Come November 29th, when Mercury stations direct at 20° Scorpio, in loose conjunction with Venus in the same sign, you’ll want to have lightened your load and aligned yourself with what you truly value and believe - the latter of which might just have shifted rather dramatically.
