Full Moon in Scorpio + Uranus Enters Gemini
If you’ve felt a shift of late, with things suddenly feeling lighter, it might be more than just the change of seasons, as Uranus, the titan of tech, ruler of rebellion, and instigator of instability, changed signs on April 26th 2026, transitioning out of Taurus - where it’s held court for seven long years - into Gemini, where it will remain until May 2033.
Since its first dalliance into Taurus on May 15th 2018, followed by another jaunt on November 6th the same year, until its official ingress into the sign on March 6th 2019, you have been asked, nay demanded, to dismantle the foundational structures of your life, in order to rebuild from the ground up.
During this time, life may have dramatically changed form, with some things having been radically and unexpectedly stripped away, taking with them your sense of safety and security.
And whilst at times this would have no doubt been challenging and unsettling, the Universe was ultimately trying to teach you that the only true stability to be found is that which you develop within yourself. Thus, you were asked to consider as to whether there were patterns, people, positions, or possessions that you had been clinging to out of fear. Unhealthy attachments that had been keeping you caged, unable to fully express and embody your most authentic self.
As Uranus worked to awaken you to the truth of things, removing from your life that which had ultimately become an obstacle to your growth and evolution, you were called to confront the underlying root cause of your limiting beliefs and behaviours. Asking if you were finally willing to do the (inner) work required, in order for yourself and life to come into alignment with what truly matters and is of value to you.
Now, as you emerge out of this seven year cycle, can you accept what is gone and appreciate what remains, in the understanding that you now have what you need to proceed ahead, both experientially and materially. And thus, can you prepare yourself for the initiation that is Uranus in Gemini, as things are set to accelerate rather rapidly, calling on you to build new, secure structures that have the capacity to support a more revolutionary way of being.
In Gemini, Uranus is now pushing for you to transform the way you contemplate, communicate, and connect, asking, what is the cost of your rigidity or resistance, when it comes to seeing or doing things differently. Are you willing to break free from past patterns. Prepared to be more open to alternative perspectives. And truly ready to absorb new information.
If so, then the years ahead will likely offer you many opportunities for Self exploration, as you attract others who help you discover new unconventional ways of thinking and being. As such, you may find yourself suddenly drawn to certain places, modalities, or practices that serve to expand your consciousness and enrich your life.
During this period you will ultimately be tasked with learning how to do things differently. Developing new skills. Releasing old ways. And leaning into curiosity as a guide. As you design a life that is creatively aligned with your individuality in mind.
In the outer world, you may see both scientific and technological breakthroughs suddenly emerge, somewhat increasing the need for discernment and critical thinking, as misinformation and the use of AI intensify, making people doubt what to trust at times. Whilst things like astrology and psychedelics become considered more mainstream and popular, as people seek to understand life beyond form.
Whilst you will have had a preview of what’s to come - when Uranus dipped into Gemini on July 7th 2025 and again later that same year, on November 8th - the next seven years of this transit may just prove to be somewhat unpredictable, requiring you to be both flexible and adaptable. Yet there is one thing you can be sure of: life will be completely unrecognisable by 2033, when Uranus transitions into Cancer.
Setting you on your way however, will be a potent Full Moon at 11º Scorpio, occurring on May 1st 2026 (6:23pm BST), that will call for a dramatic and perhaps challenging rebirth to occur. Yet what form you take will be entirely dependent on what you’ve been consciously willing to surrender over the past six months, since the Scorpio New Moon.
During this time you were called to reflect on the past, bringing awareness to how it had impacted you in the present. Asking, are there aspects of Self that now feel disempowered, areas of your life that presently lack spaciousness, attachments still keeping you bound.
In the depths of your own darkness, could you sit with the truth of what arose. Clarifying for yourself your true intentions and motivations. Seeing where your hurt was maybe getting in the way of your healing. And coming to a place of understanding when it came to the psychology of your soul.
Now, as the Moon comes into opposition with the Sun in Taurus, all that remains in the shadows will be illuminated, revealing what may have been hidden all along, perhaps even from yourself. If this has you suddenly feeling overburdened by mental and emotional baggage, know that you’re simply being called to process the past, so as to assess what needs unpacking in the present.
In the process buried emotions may resurface, uncomfortable truths may be revealed, and insight might be found, especially around your patterns, attachments, and inter-personal dynamics. Asking if can you feel your feelings without trying to intellectualise them. Confront your instinctual, automatic, habitual reactions, especially when afraid. And develop emotional resilience by getting comfortable with that which causes discomfort.
Can you finally let go of all that you have outgrown, or are you still experiencing resistance.
Regardless, with ruling planet Pluto (currently in Aquarius) forming a t-square to this lunation, avoidance is no longer an option and thus, can you accept that a certain chapter is being brought to a point of completion. That there will be a dying of the old, so that the new can emerge. A necessary moment of destruction, so that creation may occur.
And in doing so, can you choose to alchemise the pain of the past, by turning it into the power that will help generate your future. One that will ultimately be defined by your willingness to live it consciously.
