New Moon in aries
With the sky becoming increasingly activated under the Aries influence, you may do well to prepare for temperatures to rise and emotions to intensify, as unresolved issues suddenly bubble to the surface, asking, do you feel impassioned or imprisoned in this chapter of your being.
Adding fuel to this particular fire will be the New Moon at 27° Aries, occurring on April 17th 2026 (12:51pm BST). In conjunction to Chiron (finishing up its time in Aries) and square to both Jupiter (in Cancer) and Pluto (in Aquarius), it’s time to acknowledge if there are certain aspects of your life within which you have come to feel powerless or incapable.
Asking, what would you do and how would you feel, if there were no restrictions. No impediments to your empowerment.
Can you allow what arises during your contemplations to motivate you into taking action towards your own liberation, releasing yourself from what’s been holding you captive for far too long - whether that be mental, emotional, or otherwise.
In doing so, you may be required to confront and sit with certain challenging emotions - such as grief, anger, or resentment - that have long been suppressed or denied, in the acceptance that in order to truly heal something, you must first be willing to feel something.
And thus, this lunation may prove to provoke a sudden emotional release, offering you the opportunity to alchemise, by turning your pain into your most potent power.
Yet the question still remains, what will you choose to do with it.
With Saturn, Mars, Mercury, and Neptune all congregating in a tight conjunction in Aries, the potential of anything acted upon now will ultimately be down to your ability to foster temperance. Can you therefore be assertive without being aggressive; balance mental process with physical action, and find the line between what’s hopeful and what’s actually helpful.
With a sextile to both Pluto and Uranus - lingering at a critical 29° Taurus, before it ingresses into Gemini on April 26th, where it will remain until May 2033 - conjunct Venus, this lunation speaks to a time of great change, both personally and collectively. And whilst change can sometimes be challenging, it will ultimately always be transformative. Yet the question is, will you choose it, or will it choose you.
In any case, you can be sure that life is presently asking you to birth into being something new. Something your eyes have never seen and your soul has never embodied. A version of yourself that is unlimited, unencumbered, and free.
